Comments on DEIS due by Thursday

With all the excitement over the Geneseo Town elections today, those interested in the SEQR review of the Newman PDD application should remember that the deadline for submitting written comments on the Draft Environmental Impact Statement is this Thursday at 4:30 p.m. Comments may be delivered to the new Town Hall on Millennium Drive, mailed to the Town Clerk at 4630 Millennium Drive, or e-mailed to town@geneseony.org

The DEIS can be viewed at the Town Office or the Wadsworth Library and is also available online at the web site of APD Engineering. The planning Board is scheduled to meet on Nov. 12 at which time they will decide whether to proceed to a Final EIS. If they elect to do that, SEQR regulation require that it be completed within 45 days of the public hearing, or by Dec. 13.
